Job Description

Fast growing, self-clearing broker-dealer in Downtown Manhattan seeks a Controller/FINOP. This will be the first in-house Controller for the organization and could eventually lead to a CFO position.

Responsibilities include:

•Produce the daily /weekly 15c3-3 Reserve computation

•Produce the daily /weekly 15c3-1 Net Capital Estimate

•Develop management reports to monitor capital and liquidity on a daily basis.

•Develop Daily collateral availability report for treasury management and review each day.....including daily bank reconciliations.

•Review and file monthly FOCUS report in coordination with outside accountants

•Work to develop additional liquidity strategies to fund the firm and support business growth.

•Stress reports as required by FINRA

•Assist Compliance/Operations as needed

•Work with Front office on transaction structuring, strategy and any other projects

Qualified candidates must have experience as a FINOP for a self-clearing broker dealer

Salary 175-200k base plus competitive bonus and benefits
