Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Danish-Speaking Content Moderator to join our growing team in Qormi, Malta. If you are fluent in Danish and passionate about maintaining the quality and safety of online platforms, this role is perfect for you. As a Content Moderator, you will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring user-generated content across various platforms, ensuring that it adheres to company policies and community guidelines. You’ll work in a hybrid model , combining the flexibility of remote work (3 days a week) with the opportunity to collaborate on-site at our Qormi office for 2 days each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Review and Moderation: Monitor and evaluate user-generated content, including text, images, videos, and other media, to ensure compliance with community guidelines, legal requirements, and platform policies.
- Quality Assurance: Identify and flag inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content in accordance with the moderation policies.
- Uphold Community Standards: Help create a safe, positive, and welcoming online environment by enforcing the platform’s standards and guidelines.
- Reporting & Escalation: Report recurring issues or trends related to content violations and escalate any complex or high-priority cases to senior management or legal teams when necessary.
- Adherence to KPIs: Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as review accuracy, speed, and quality of moderation decisions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other moderators, team leads, and content policy experts to ensure the ongoing improvement and consistency of moderation efforts.
- Stay Informed: Keep updated with industry standards, local regulations, and platform-specific guidelines to apply the most current policies.
Who You Are:
- Language Proficiency: Native or fluent in Danish, with a good command of English.
- Strong Communicator: Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, to ensure smooth team collaboration.
- Detail-Oriented: Possess a sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility in reviewing content, ensuring that nothing is overlooked.
- Problem Solver: Capable of analyzing situations and making quick, sound decisions regarding content that may violate platform guidelines.
- Resilience & Flexibility: Comfortable handling sensitive or distressing content while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Tech-Savvy: Able to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, platforms, and software tools.
Preferred but Not Required:
- Previous Experience in Content Moderation: While prior experience is an asset, it is not mandatory. We provide full training to help you excel in this role.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, online communities, or content management systems is a plus.
