SUMMARY OF POSITION

Currently seeking a driven  Heavy Truck Mechanic on 1st Shift for our growing Materials team in York, PA. A successful candidate will possess advanced mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Conduct preventative maintenance, PA inspections, and essential truck repairs, including brakes, electrical, suspension, hydraulic, exhaust, and chassis.
• Run OEM software diagnostic tests and analyze results to ensure optimal truck performance.
• Perform and document routinely scheduled maintenance activities.
• Practice and uphold safe work habits in all tasks.
• Fulfill other related duties and responsibilities as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced mechanical knowledge
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• CDL license required.
• Class 3 inspection license required.
• Experience with hydraulic and air brake systems
• Welding experience preferred, but not required.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Must be motivated and willing to seek self-improvement.
