Job Title: CTP Cloud Engineer - GOlang

12+ months contract

Plano, TX (100% onsite)

What we're looking for

• Be a team player, someone who can communicate effectively with our customers.
• Adhere to established Development standards, Code Quality Standards, collaborate to maintain source code via tools like Git.
• Analyze requirements and technical specifications and implement assigned development tasks using various technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot various issues in different environments including Production.
• Design, Develop, maintain, and debug cloud native applications.
• Mentor other junior developers in the team.

What you'll be doing:

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications developed using GO Lang, deployed with AWS Cloud Services. You will work with MongoDB/DynamoDB to design schemas, optimize queries, and maintain data integrity. Additionally, you will write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices, conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the robustness and reliability of applications, collaborate closely with other team members to create seamless user experiences, assist in integrating AWS web services into applications, and create and maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing features.

Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves):

• Must have expert knowledge on GO Lang, gQL.
• Must Have good knowledge on Kafka, preferably - AWS MSK or Aiven Kafka.
• Recent experience in developing and managing highly available distributed applications using toolkits such as Git, Docker, DevOps tools.
• Good understanding of various Design Patterns in building highly available, highly scalable distributed applications connecting a large volume of devices, serving millions of users.
• Good understanding of Security Best Practices to implement security at various levels to protect the devices & data.
• Expert level technical knowledge in developing cloud native applications - covering infrastructure, platform and software as services.
• AWS Technical knowledge in - API Gateway, AppSync, R53, ECS/EKS, ECR, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, Lambda, S3, Glue etc is required.
• Experience with Glue Schema registry, handling serialization & compression methods
• Developing and designing REST APIs using JSON, other messaging protocols.
• Software Development craftsmanship - Code Quality, Automated Testing, and Agile best practices.

Added bonus if you have (Preferred):

• Candidates with AWS Developer Certification are preferred.
• Knowledge on Java, Springboot, et would be a value add.
