Salary:

Cortina Solutions is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer that possess the knowledge and techniques experience required of software engineering or computer science to support requirements development, design, implementation, and testing of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) software within a Government Project Office.

This position will provide engineering oversight and directly support the Product Manager vision in the execution of required duties. This position will also be responsible for coordinating the planning, developmental and operational test for weapon systems. Coordinate with Government agencies, stakeholders (user), test community organizations and range personnel to plan and conduct prototype testing; and to plan and conduct weapon systems testing. Collaborate with experienced engineers to support M&S activities and conduct test data analysis/reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical lead for the Product Office M&S and analysis efforts in the application and execution of systems engineering principles, process, and activities.

• Participate in IPTs representing the Product Office to include M&S Software Engineering and Test & Evaluation (T&E). 

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in the oversight and execution of analysis in support of digital simulations along with some type of Hardware in the Loop) facility to assess pre-test predictions and conduct post-test analysis.

• Support the planning and execution of system performance analysis, independent performance assessments, lethality assessments, risk analysis, test readiness reviews, post-test analysis and simulation activities. 

• Support Developmental Testing and Operational Assessments and coordinate Joint Analysis Team reviews to report overall system(s) performance.

• Collaborate with customer and stakeholders to identify, develop, and document requirements.

• Publish and maintain test documents, to include the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Test Plans and Test Reports. Prepare and submit test reports.

• Develop briefings, information papers for the Project Manager and executive level reviews and support the Contractor Program Management Reviews.

Qualifications:

• ABET Accredited Engineer or technical related bachelor’s degree. 
• Minimum 12 years related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Must be a team player.
