Job Description

• Works under general supervision in interviewing incoming patients or representatives to obtain and record necessary information for registration
• Distributes copies to appropriate departments
• Obtains signed statements and consents
• Ensures precertification has been obtained for outpatient services when applicable
• Provides relief to switchboard operators and lobby managers

• Proficient typing skills
• Above average spelling ability, good communication skills and use of good judgement
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience is preferred
