Duration: 6 Months Contract Location: Remote Role: Smartsheet Administrator Primary Skills: SaaS Role Description: The Smartsheet Administrator must have at least 2+ years of experience. For this role, you must be an experienced Smartsheet Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Smartsheet platform. As a Smartsheet Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting the Smartsheet platform to enhance productivity and collaboration within the organization. You will work closely with various teams to understand their workflow needs and customize Smartsheet solutions accordingly. Your role is essential in ensuring the efficient use of Smartsheet to meet business objectives. Note: Role may be remote, however preference will be given to candidates in or near Newark, New Jersey (client location). Responsibilities: Platform Analysis, Architecture, and Configuration

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows, automation, template needs, and requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into a well-architected solution that best leverages the Smartsheet platform, our partners, and our API.
  • Determine solution feasibility in support of new business requirements identified.
  • Customize and configure Smartsheet workspaces, sheets, templates, and dashboards to align with organizational requirements.
Smartsheet Product and Project Management
  • Manage the technical delivery of custom development and integration elements of the Smartsheet solution.
  • Continuously improve upon project management processes and Smartsheet administration with the Smartsheet Core Application, Smartsheet Control Center, and Resource Management.
  • User Support –Provide training and support to users, helping them utilize Smartsheet effectively and troubleshoot any issues.
Workflow Optimization
  • Analyze existing processes and workflows, identifying opportunities to streamline operations using Smartsheet automation and features.
  • Expand upon Smartsheet solution portfolio, demonstrating best practices in design.
  • Data Management - Ensure data integrity and security within Smartsheet, setting up appropriate access controls and permissions.
Integration
  • Serve as the Smartsheet subject matter expert (SME) on Smartsheet product capabilities and extensibility scenarios that leverage API.
  • Integrate Smartsheet with other tools and software used by the organization to create seamless workflows and data exchange.
  • Maintain and contribute to internal software applications built with the Smartsheet API.
  • Documentation - Maintain documentation for Smartsheet configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Reporting - Create and manage reports and dashboards within Smartsheet to provide insights and track key performance metrics.
  • Compliance - Ensure that Smartsheet usage complies with data privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Troubleshooting - Diagnose and resolve issues related to Smartsheet functionality and performance.
Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, CS or a related field, or additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Smartsheet administration or a related role.
  • Proficiency in using Smartsheet and a strong understanding of its capabilities.
  • 3+ years hands-on working experience in configuration, customization, and implementation of SaaS applications
  • Experience with virtual cloud deployment environments (VMs, Serverless functions)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with project management concepts is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Smartsheet certification is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerBI, SAP, P6, and Employee Central preferred
