Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to children with developmental delays in a both a home and public setting
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social development.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light household chores related to childcare.
• Establish a nurturing and supportive relationship with each child, understanding their individual needs and preferences.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the children, ensuring their well-being at all times.
• Serve as a positive role model for the children, demonstrating patience, responsibility, and empathy in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Genuine passion for working with children with varying developmental abilities and supporting their growth and development.
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
• Patience, understanding, and empathy towards children, recognizing and respecting their individuality.
• CPR and first aid certification may be required (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
